Strawberry Daiquiri or Margarita

1 oz rum or tequila
1 cup frozen sliced strawberries
½ packet of individual serving of the lemonade powder stir-in for bottled water
1 cup water

The individual packets of sugar free lemonade packets work great for this. You can use a whole one if you want more tang, but half is plenty. In a blender or Magic Bullet add all ingredients and blend until icy smooth. It makes approximately 16 oz. and has about 130 calories in comparison to the 600 calories (or more) that you will spend on an 8 oz. traditional margarita or daiquiri. Skip the liquor altogether and turn your frosty beverage into a 49 calorie virgin treat!

  1. That sounds really good! I’m not much of a drinker, so I’d get to enjoy the virgin variety. What I’d have to do though is double all the ingredients because I wouldn’t trust myself to spill out only half of those little packets! Those suckers would be hard to measure! 🙂

  2. It is yummy and don’t worry if you spill the whole packet in. It will still be delicious!
